The guy played at Oasis since 2001. He said: “I still can't believe I won. Oasis Casino is the best.” I can't believe it either. Do you?

» Hello everyone!
I recently joined this community because I am really interested in Las Vegas. I have a few friends there, but I have never been to Vegas. My boyfriend has been to the sin city a few times, and loves it.

We are thinking (my boyfriend and I) about moving to Las Vegas a year from now. We are already making plans. We are both 22 year old and recently graduated from college. I work for the government now, and wanted to find a state/government job in Nevada. I also applied to University of Nevada Las Vegas for a doctorate psychology program. If I get accepted into UNLV, I will definitely move to Las Vegas and if I don't, I'll just look for a state job there. My boyfriend is a web designer and there seems to be many opportunities in that out in Vegas, too.

I'd like to know more about this amazing city. I'd like to know what are your favorite places to frequent, favorite restaurants, bars, malls, stores, shopes... And if anyone can help me out with Vegas neighborhoods--which are good and which are better--that would be great. Does anyone go to UNLV? How do you like it? What do you love about living in Vegas and what you don't?

Sorry for so many qustions. I just really want to find out about my possible future place of residence before I make the big move.

Thank you :)
